Had my sleep study night before last.  They did a split night, since they already know I have apnea.  It went okay, but because I spent part of the night without my CPAP and didn’t get to go to bed until 10, and because I woke up at 5:30, I was exhausted all day yesterday.  Doh!  I’m fine now. 

I don’t know what happens next.  We’ll see.  I do know that I have to come up with $350 for a program fee.  Not quite sure how I will do that, but I will get that done.   I’m not sure if I will have to see a pulmonologist or not.  Not sure what my insurance requires.

I’m a little nervous now, but that will pass.  I’m nervous about the surgery itself and I’m nervous about coming up with the money.  I know that I can get the money and I know that my nerves will calm down.  I’m hoping to get a scholarship for most of the money.  I should be able to.

I have my stuff all packed and ready to go.  I’ve had several of these before, so I know what to expect.

I made the mistake of drinking caffeine this morning, but the amount that I had shouldn’t effect the study tonight.  I won’t drink any more caffeine today.

I go for my sleep study this coming Monday.  I can’t wait!  I don’t know what I will have to do next, but I am ready for it.  :)  I hope this happens in a timely manner.  I want it to happen before my birthday, but have no idea as of yet when that will be.

I don’t know how much time usually passes between the initial consult and the surgery.  I hope not to terribly long.  I would really like to be up and around again for my b’day, but if it doesn’t happen that fast, then it doesn’t happen that fast.  I will have to be patient.

I have been to one support group and enjoyed it immensely.  It was suggested at the seminar that we check it out, so I did.  I’m glad that I did.  It was nice.  :)  The people there seem really nice and friendly.

I’m going to go check out protein powder prices now.  Wish me luck!
